Heavenly Father, thank you that though we were in darkness and walking a path apart from your life, you sent your Son into the world as the light of life. Thank you that he rescues us from sin and brings about full forgiveness. Thank you that in him, we see what eternal life really looks like, that we have such a great hope in real, flesh and blood life with you forever. Lord, please grow our faith in Christ. May we see all that he did, and know that he truly is the Son of God, our Christ. May we ever run to him for forgiveness and know the sure hope that he is our life. Please help us to live in the light of who he has now made us.
