Heavenly Father, your word is what we need to hear so that we might come to know Christ, and that we grow up to maturity in in him. Thank you that this word is not just for the old, but the young as well. Help us to serve our children well by speaking your word to them as we go out, and as we come in; when we get up and when we lie down. May we teach them well tomorrow at church, but all the time when we are together. May your work in us be on display, and the message of the gospel be our constant foundation. May they grow up loving Christ and rejoicing in his work for them.
