Our dear Lord Jesus, thank you that you came looking for us, that you found us in our curiosity and called us to yourself. Thank you too, that you do not just call us and walk on, but that you come and make yourself at home with us. Thank you that though we were selfishly serving ourselves, you stepped into our lives and showed us what is true and good. Thank you for your perfect self-sacrificing life. Thank you that you bring salvation to us, lifting us down from our precarious position of pride and greed, and grounded us in your forgiveness and love. Thank you that you not only save us, but transform us. Please keep doing this in our hearts. May we love like you, with generosity and genuine care.
