Heavenly Father, before your work in us, our eyes saw only foolishness when we looked at the cross. We cannot see your salvation without the work of your Spirit in our hearts and minds. Thank you that you have sent him to renew our mind, letting us see the power of your salvation in Christ. Please help us to keep trusting your work through your Spirit to save others. May we be like the farmer who scatter the seed of your word on the soil, watching for growth, not knowing or having any real control over what shoots up. Please help us to take comfort knowing that you are in control, and so, speak boldly to anyone, knowing that you can do anything.
