Heavenly Father, thank you that your words are pure, as though refined by fire seven times over. Thank you that in you there is no deceit and that you are entirely trustworthy. Lord, please help us to depend on you in all times of need. Help us to long for your justice and mercy to come and make all things right. Thank you that we have already seen a foretaste of this in Christ, and stir in us a great hope for many more to know him. Please shape us also, to be people like Christ who are loyal and true through the strength of your Spirit.
