Father of all comfort, please strengthen us to cling on to Christ through all the hardships of life. Help us to see the immeasurable worth that is found in him. Please transform our hearts to long for his glory. Transform our lives to be shaped like his. May we know your comfort – wrap us up in your comfort through every affliction. Help us to know the shape of your love in the most difficult times, anchor in us the knowledge of your care, even in the darkest of nights. May we know that nothing can seperate us from your love that you unreservedly poured out through Christ. No famine, no sword, no hardship, no disease, no economic crisis, no state of our mind can seperate us. Please help us to know your comfort, and build in us patient endurance.
