Heavenly Father, please help stop listen well to your word tomorrow. Please give us ears to hear your truth to us and not zone in on what our itching ears want to hear. Please perform your word surgery on our hearts, dissecting our thoughts and will. Please give us the humility to see our sin and the wisdom to see its repugnance. Please work in us through your Holy Spirit to repent of sin and cry out to you for mercy. Help us to cling to Christ always, and rejoice in our Lord and Saviour, knowing that he has made us righteous through his work on the cross. Please transform us as we listen and stir our hearts to love you and all our neighbours around us.
