Heavenly Father, help me to present myself to you as an unashamed worker who correctly handles the word of truth. Please cleanse me and make me holy in Christ, useful to him and prepared for any good work. May I flee evil passions, and instead pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace. When opponents arise, may I correct them with gentleness, and win people, not arguments. May I avoid evil teachers and instead follow Paul’s good model of ministry.
