Gracious Lord, please build up our joy knowing that sin no longer is our master. Its power has been dethroned and it no longer drives us; its sting has been removed and the grave can no longer crush us. Open our eyes to the beauty of our position of grace and forgiveness in Christ. Help us to know the wonder of being so woven together with Christ that we share his sin demolishing death and his peace bringing life. Work in us day by day to be thankful for the rebuilt life we have been given in Christ. Strengthen us to offer ourselves as as tools of righteousness, through the power of your Spirit. Wield us with your own mighty hand, as weapons against our own sin. Keep us trusting in the gospel of Christ always.
