Lord, I ask that you speak through your word for the sake of our hearts. Thank you that through it we have heard your salvation and have been redeemed from the guilt, penalty and power of sin. May we continue to drink in your gospel message, receiving it as the fountain of life that it is. If we had only our own words to give to others, those we serve would wither away, so help me to tell of your salvation faithfully, and speak your word today. Give us joy in the freedom you bring in Christ and in confidence, draw near to you in love and worship.
