Lord, please prepare my heart as I prepare to teach your word on Wednesday. May it work in me by your Spirit to comfort, correct and set my hope fully in the gospel. Help me to do my best as a worker and rightly handle the word of truth. May you work in those who will hear, that none will harden their hearts but instead, heartily rejoice in the strength of your salvation and come before you with thanksgiving.
