Father, please guard us from being confused in our understanding or drawn away from the beautiful truth we know in Christ. May we see Christ all the more clearly that we might not be drawn away by deceitful words that have their foundation only in human knowledge. Strengthen us through your word in the Bible study tomorrow as we mine the riches of the gospel of Jesus again. May we be so captivated by the beauty of the gospel that we may never be taken captive by allure of deceitful words.
