Father God, we know that your kingdom is like a seed planted in the ground that then grows up to become a large tree giving rest and shade for many. Help us trust in your power, knowing that we cannot control the growth of the seed. Help us to keep our focus on the future hope of your kingdom that you will bring to beautiful fruition on the last day. Help me to labour diligently, speaking your word more and more, with as much energy as you give me. Cause us to long for the maturing of your harvest, labouring in prayer for it. May we rejoice in your harvest, seeing it begin even now, then all the more when your work is completed.
