Heavenly Father, thank you for times of rest and relaxation. That you for the break we have been able to have over Christmas remembering the wonder of how you stepped into our world in humility and weakness. Lord, we marvel that though you are the almighty God and creator of all things, you continued to relate to us in humility and weakness, became a servant to all and subjected yourself to death on a cross for our sake. Lord, help us to keep letting this great truth sink deep into our hearts, and please transform us to become like you again – those who serve in humility and weakness. May we continue to rest in your strength as we launch into this new year.
