Father, without your word our soul clings to the dust, yet with it we find life itself. Please make us understand the way of your statutes, cause us to know the beating heart of your testimonies. May we be captivated by your wondrous works, longing to hear of them over and again. Lord, we need your word in us, without it we crumble away. Help us be glad of, and long for, your work in us so that we might run in the way of your commandments. Help me to be effective in bringing your word to people at JCU, those who need strengthening, and those who need life itself.
