Gracious God, please open our eyes to the glorious king heralded in the gospel. Help us to hear the announcement of the Christ afresh, that he is the glorious king of all. He is your son whom you love, whose kingdom shall never end; your son to whom you have given the nations as a heritage. He is no frail prince whose plans crumble with his final breath, but the Lord, our hope and help who made heaven and earth, who rose victorious from the grave and keeps faith forever. Our Lord reigns forever, our God to all generations. May we be a people who praise the Lord. May more people at JCU serve the you with fear and rejoice with trembling, knowing and loving our Lord Jesus.
