Your glory

Heavenly Father, when you step into this world, the earth itself quakes. You are powerful and weighty, deserving of our attention, worthy of all praise. Who is like you, Lord, our maker and redeemer. You knitted us together as tiny babies and forged the largest of stars. Lord, we are sorry for the times we make ourselves to seem more glorious than you, we have shut our eyes to your greatness. Thank you that you showed the true nature of your glory – revealing your glory at the cross. Your are worthy and wonderful, our great God and king, who became a servant and substitute for us in our judgement. Thank you too for the glorious hope that we have as we see Christ risen from the dead. Please help us to set our lives in line with your great and saving glory.
