Heavenly Father, thank you that Jesus is our good shepherd who brings us to you. Thank you that he came to give us life to the full. How good it is now to have life that is connected in with you. Because of him, the pleasure of food and fun is better because we know them to be good gifts given by their designer. Our friendships, now, are richer, marked by trust and forgiveness, because we know true forgiveness from you. Work is worthwhile because you are our caring overseer who is from eternity, to eternity. Now even suffering is bearable and an experience that grows us, because we know it won’t last forever, you strengthen us through it, and you have even stepped into our suffering for us. Please help us to see the full life you have brought us into, and let many more at JCU come to see it too.
