Lord, you are the one and only God, who made the heavens and the earth, the holy awesome God. Yet you are not aloof or distant, but the God who relates to your people as a faithful loving father. You have rescued us from death and sin and established a covenant with us. May we always marvel at your goodness, may we always talk about your grace, chattering away about your love throughout the day, with all those around us. May we love you with all our heart, with all our soul, and with all our strength. May our children know you well as we teach them day by day of all that you have done for us. Please shape our hearts to love you as we should.
