Heavenly Father, please help us when we are low and lacking in any way to feel our deep need of you and to lean on your word. Please help us to shift our focus from ourselves and see you again as we read your word. Please refresh us with it when we are feeling low and worn down; please reset our hearts onto things that matter when we are impatient, please correct us with it when we have done wrong. In all things please impress upon us the goodness of the gospel, making us quick to confess our sins, ready to repent, and ever rejoicing in Christ.
