Heavenly Father, we praise you as the gracious Lord, who is deserving of all honour and glory, and yet the one who became flesh, and lowered yourself to serve. Thank you for the unparalleled life of service that we see in Christ, the only one who could truly serve us in such a way that we could be lifted up and honoured in your eyes. Please help us to grow in humility, not grabbing at power to build ourselves up, or lording it over others, but strengthening the weak, lifting up the lowly, and giving all glory to you. Please equip us to serve like that as a group at uni this year.
