Heavenly Father, once we were in the pit of slavery to sin. We were entirely without resources to gain any good or to find life. Our lives were a thin veneer about to crumble at any time. Father, thank you that you saved us from this state. We cling to your promise that was from the very beginning, holding out for your blessing which you freely gave in Christ. We are your willing servants and beloved children. Lord, please help us to rejoice in our new life; help us to trust your goodness day by day; and help us to look forward to your continued outworking of your blessing in our life.
