Sovereign Lord, you are amazing, you are the creator of all things, the maker and sustainer from before the beginning of this world. You are in control, though all the nations rage and the people plot against you and your anointed king. Thank you that Jesus is your king who rules no matter what, even when everyone tore him down and crucified him. Thank you that this was part of his kingly plan to save enemies like us. We gladly bow before him and serve him with joy. Father, please do your good will, bring about your plans for us, and help us to trust that you will bring about good for us and shape us for your glory. Please help us to speak bravely about our great king Jesus and remember that he rules no matter what.
