Father in heaven, we do desperately need your kingdom to come. Draw us into your kingdom; hold us safely there; defend and protect us. How good it is to be brought out of a place of darkness and see the kingdom of your son, to see how good he is. Jesus humbled himself for us who had set ourselves as rebels against you, and he redeemed us, making us a treasure and heirs to his kingdom. Please help us to treasure him, to long for and labour for your kingdom to come.
