Father in heaven, thank you for sending your Spirit to dwell in us. Please lead us through him into freedom and not distract ourselves from all Christ has done in fulfilling the law. Please help us not to seek a righteousness in our own achievements or our own goodness, but instead find it only in Christ. May we not use our freedom as opportunity for the flesh but instead fill our lives with your love expressed to one another. Please keep us in step with the Spirit, bearing all his fruit and putting aside the sins that often entangle us. Help us to rejoice together in his mercy and grace to us always.
