Heavenly Father, please help us to truly see our weakness. Help us to see that we are utterly dependent on you for everything. We have no good to offer from our own hearts but have been broken and marked by sin from the very beginning. We have no strength to muster to drag ourselves to righteousness but only fall short of your glory. Thank you, though, that in having nothing we have everything, that when we let go of and loose the feeble attempts of our life, we actually gain eternal life in Christ. Please help us to simply trust and depend on you for every good gift. For our salvation in Christ, and for every mite of growth that is seen after that. Please help us to know this again at the Bible talks today as we open your word together. Please work through it by your Spirit for you glory.
