Heavenly Father, thank you for the opportunities you have given us to proclaim Jesus on campus here at JCU. Thank you for the regular Bible talks that we have been able to start up and the cooperation of the JCU admin in providing us a suitable room. Please help me as I prepare, that I will be faithful to your word as we look closely at 1 Samuel . Please help us to listen carefully to it together, that we may be challenged by and encouraged as to see the picture of your promised king and the fulfilment of it in Jesus.
