Heavenly Father, please pour out your love into our hearts through your Holy Spirit. Lord we ask that with Christ’s Spirit in us we might have a different perspective – that we might see our end goal clearly, that we might see the beauty of what we already have in Christ. Lord, we are still weak though, and we ask in times of difficulty, stress, pain, and frustration that we might at least begin to endure. Lord, please grant that this endurance might be transformed into a fire-hardened character, tested and stronger than before. Please then grow from this that wonderful hope that keeps lifting our gaze to the glory that is coming. Please grow us through endurance, but out of endurance and into hope.
