Heavenly Father, thank you for your word and that you continually shape us through it by your Spirit. Thank you for the church at Atherton and the warm welcome we received during mission with them. Please help them to continue to bear fruit in their character as they serve you together up there. May their faith be known to all around them and their love for each other be evident. Please strengthen Lindsay as he cares for your people there and keeps teaching your word. May his family have a good chance to rest after the Christmas break. Please continue to bring people along to the church through the kid’s club and youth and the Christmas events, that many more in the tablelands may hear of the good news and come to trust Jesus Christ as their lord and saviour.
