Heavenly Father, thank you that we are indeed righteous in your eyes. We praise you that you have done this all through our Lord Jesus. We put all our confidence in him, Lord, and not our own achievements. Please help us to consider all our own strivings to gain righteousness a liability and so that we might gain Christ and that we might know him and the power of his resurrection. Please transform us by his life giving power, that the dead wood of sin might continue to be pruned out of our life. May we strive towards maturity in Christ with all his strength, giving all glory to him for his work in us. May we long for that day when we hear your call and know in full the resurrection, even of our mortal bodies, when we will enjoy forever the peace and rest of the age to come.
