Father, thank you that you are still at work even when we are weak and sick. Your kingdom does not depend on our strength but your grace. Please help us to keep trusting you in these times. Please help us to do what we can with the strength that you supply. May sickness remind us of our frailty and our utter dependence on you. Help us remember the tragedy of brokenness that our sin brings about and turn our eyes to you for mercy. Please grow us through these times to have more patience and trust, and as we weaken may our hope in Christ grow strong.
