Heavenly Father, thank you that Christ our king was wholeheartedly devoted to you. Thank you that he never misdirected his love to things that drew him away from you, but was steadfast and unfaltering. We take great comfort in knowing that our standing before you is through him and his perfect righteousness. Please help us to relish the freedom of confident repentance, always turning to you for forgiveness through Christ. Please grow us up in him also, renewing us by your Spirit to walk like him. May we take off sin through your strength and put on the goodness of Christ. May we find true joy as we delight in you rather than worshipping the things you have made. In Christ, may we live wholeheartedly for you.
