Father in heaven, we praise our Lord Jesus, your Son. Thank you so much that you sent Jesus – he is such good news! He is your Word to us that never fails or fades away, your promise of life in the face of our brokenness, your forgiveness in the gloom of our sin. We can rejoice even in the difficulties of life because he has brought your kingdom about for us. Lord, please help us to know Christ well, to see his glory, his humility, his love for us, and gladly trust and follow him. May we rejoice in the good news of Christ and let others hear it also.
