Heavenly Father, please help us as we dive into your word during Bible study today. Help us to understand it well. May we dig down deep, not so that we can gain a head full of knowledge, but that our hearts may be exposed and reshaped. Help us to hear your warnings and rest in the hope you set out for us in Christ. Please help us to delight in Christ who brings about the fulfilment of all your promises. Please bring about Christ’s fruit in us this week through the power of your Spirit. Keep us longing and praying for your good gifts, and finding you to be our great satisfaction.
