Heavenly Father, as we meet together to study your word, please transform us by your Holy Spirit. May our group see Jesus afresh and marvel at who he is. Please fill us with wonder at his magnificent power and gentle care. Please help us to recognise our fears and view them against the backdrop of Christ’s strength and love. Please reshape our fear into faith and strengthen us to hold fast onto Jesus as our great hope for true peace and security. Set our minds on his purposes and help us to long for them to come about in and through us this week.
