Heavenly Father, please speak through your word as it is read and preached tomorrow. Please speak to me through it, I need it, for it brings life through its gospel message. Make me crave it, seeing my hopeless deficiencies and the fountain of grace that is found in your word. Give strength and humility to those who will be preaching tomorrow. May they courageously say what you have said – words of comfort or challenge, pointing to the matchless hope we have in Christ. Open our ears and hearts for our great good.
