Gracious LORD, please raise our eyes from the limited things around us to that which is wonderful. Shift our gaze to you. Please show us your nature – your goodness and beauty; your power and unparalleled glory. Let those things that trouble us day by day seem fleeting and tiny compared to your infinite majesty and grace. Fill our minds with your wondrous works: that though you are holy and utterly beyond us in all things, you have drenched us with your grace. You have created us in your image; revealed yourself to us; called us your very own; saved and restored us when we were helplessly lost and dead in our sin. Revive us with the gospel day by day that we may ever be reminded of your worthiness to be praised. Flood our hearts with joy, and our lips with worship.
