Heavenly Father, please open the eyes of the blind and the ears of the deaf. May your Holy Spirit convict the hearts of many at JCU of their desperate need of you. Give us opportunities to open your word with them and work in them through this. Please reveal to many your glory and see how far short we all fall. May they hear the gospel of Christ and recognise their only hope is in the peace and forgiveness secured through him. Give the students confidence to invite their friends to hear about Jesus and help me to lead them in this, encourage and equip them as they do.
