Heavenly Father, thank you for your word and the encouragement that we have from it as we listen with soft hearts to what you are saying to us. Please keep teaching me and our group at JCU the goodness of the gospel. Help us to keep seeing the hope that lets us stand up under suffering. Keep us on our knees as we see our own great weakness but Christ’s great strength. We ask this especially when we think of pointing others to you. Help us not to think that it is by our own abilities that others may come to be saved but through your great grace. May this motivate us all the more to speak of your great gospel.
