Heavenly Father, thank you that you have won the victory over our great enemy, and have defeated every sin. Thank you that you have given us Christ, who knows what it is to be human and face the force of evil and yet triumph without giving in to any temptation. Thank you for the great comfort we have, knowing our victory is certain because Christ’s victory is our victory – that all righteousness has been credited to us through him. Please help us to rejoice in your grace day by day, and transform us to be like Jesus our saviour.
