Heavenly Father, thank you that you have transferred us from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of the Son, thank you that you have brought us from death to life. Thank you too that you are still at work in us to reform our hearts and ways to reflect your goodness. We ask that, in Christ’s strength, you will reform our hearts so that we speak words that that build others up; that we speak what is true; that we put aside anger and malice; that we be kind and tender to each other. Father, we know though, that we we are weak and often fail in all these ways, so please grow us in forgiving one another, just as you have forgiven us.
