Lord, you are worthy to be praised. Please help the students, and us all, to pause and consider your magesty and grace. You have made heaven and earth, the sea and all that is in them. You are faithful, just, and generous, and you have made yourself known to us. Not only can we know you, we can rely on you. You are our help and our hope, and we cling to your promises that you have established with your people. You are our God, the God of Jacob, through whom you bless the nations, even us here in Cairns. Our whole salvation is in you, may we trust in you alone.
Amen.
