Lord, thank you that we are made by you and always cared for by you. You have formed our heart and consider everything we do. The strength of nations, kings and warriors are blind hopes, but the eyes of you are on all who fear you. We hope in your unfailing love that delivers us from the jaws of death. Please help us to wait in hope for you, and to know you as our help and shield. Train our hearts to rejoice as we trust in your holy name. May your unfailing love rest on us, O Lord, even as we hope in you.
