Heavenly Father, thank you that you have spoken to us and we can know you truly, from the very beginning of creation to the present. Though you are good beyond measure and blazing with perfection and holiness, you have always drawn close to us through your grace and promise. Father, thank you though that now we have this same grace but to the utmost degree through Christ whom you have given to us. He is the radiance of your glory and the exact imprint of your nature, and he has revealed you to us in the most perfect way. Now, in him, we can be called your children, can find true peace and forgiveness, and know your love to us always. Please help us to treasure the wonderful gift we have in Christ and not devote our hearts to things that can never draw us close to you like he does.
