Heavenly Father, thank you that you have drawn near to us, that you are with us, and that your promises are so trust worthy. We are sorry though, for the many ways that we have doubted your word and leaned on our own understanding. Many time we have looked at your good things and called them bad, and preferred the slavery of our old way of living over your freedom and life. Thank you, though, that Christ stands ever between us and your judgement, who intercedes for for us and brings about out forgiveness and steadfast love. Please help us to cling to him, and find life and transformation through his strength.
