Heavenly father, it is so good to be made as your creatures, in your image. Every good thing that we enjoy has come from you. We were made to delight in you as our heavenly Father, yet we spurned your love and walked our paths of darkness. Lord, we grieve our sin and the brokenness that we brought along with it. Father, thank you that you have redeemed us from the deep darkness of our sin, and brought us into the kingdom of your son, full of light and life and love. Father thank you that you are bringing us to your new creation, and that we will one day rejoice in full measure, as we enjoy your presence with complete peace and joy. Please help us to live out the new life that you brought about in us while we wait for that day.
