Heavenly Father, we were dead in our sins, limping through life, crippled in our ability to live out your good ways. We were alienated and opposed to you, but you sought us out, and welcomed us in. You poured out your grace on us in great abundance. Father, thank you that you have brought us to your royal table and given us a place of great honour. Your have wrapped us up in the love of your Son and seated us with him, by your side. Please help us to recognise the greatness of your generosity towards us. Please help us to live out a life that reflects the identity that you have reformed in us. May we delight in lifting others up and giving them honour, rather than seeking to serve ourselves alone, giving glory to Christ who has enabled every good thing in us.
