Lord Jesus, thank you that you are a king who walked a path of weakness and shame for us. Lord, you were utterly despised as you hung on the cross: mocked, scorned, and rejected. Thank you that even so, you continued to pour out your grace and love on us. Even there at your bleeding feet, you were drawing together a new family. Lord we praise your grace and goodness that you live out to the extreme in those moments on the cross. We are drawn in to bow before you, you great king, who displays his glory through sacrificial love. May we serve you with joy all our days. May the families of al the earth be drawn in to praise you, the king who was crowned with scorn and death so that we may have life forever.
Amen
