Heavenly Father, thank you that you are faithful even when we are not. Thank you for the Bible studies that we have been looking at in Genesis and the challenge of seeing how deeply sin has spread, and yet how constant you are in bringing about your plan. Please help us to keep clinging to your promises in faith, knowing that you will bring them about through your own strength even in weak and broken people such as ourselves. Please turn aside our doubts and grow our steadfastness. Keep our eyes on the cross of Christ where we see your glorious plan of blessing and redemption triumph even through the greatest weakness. Keep us confident in your work rather than our own and so fill us with hope.
