Heavenly Father, thank you for the opportunity that we have to come and join together as brothers and sisters in Christ this weekend. Thank you that we are able to be united in the gospel and rejoice in Christ’s work for us. Help us to be challenged by your word, to listen with hearts ready to accept and respond to what you are saying to us. Help us to lift our gaze beyond ourselves to the opportunities around us to bring words of hope to those around us. May we be fed and grow richly in your word this weekend and shape us that we may bring glory to Christ.
